On May 10, 2024 I was scheduled for a root canal. I was given my payment fee a week or two before my appointment. Before I was able to go to the back to be seen, I was told to pay $287. I thought to myself why charge me first before even doing the procedure? I didn't say anything, I just paid with my debit card. After taking more x-rays, a 3D scan, I was told I could not get the root canal done. My tooth was unsavable and needed to be pulled. I said to the endodontist okay, fine. How do I get my money back that I just paid? He stated as quick as we took it off your card that's how quick you will get it back. I went to the front desk to let the person there know that I did not get the procedure done and needed a refund. She told me that I will only get back $157. I was charged $130 for the 3D scan and was told the consult was included /covered by my insurance. I asked her how long will it take for the refund to get on my card? Remind you, it's a Friday. She said no later than Tuesday. Then I asked for something in writing to state that I will get a refund back. She stated that she have not been able to get in contact with the manager/person who has access to give me a print out. I told her I'll wait and I went and sat down. I was not leaving that office without something in writing that stated I will get a refund. At that moment I can tell that I must have ticked her off for asking for something in writing because she instantly caught an attitude. I didn't understand why she was getting an attitude because I wasn't rude or disrespectful. If anyone should have had an attitude it should have been me. I took off from work to get a procedure to only find out that I couldn't. I was charged $287 and didn't get it back as fast as she swiped my card. I still had to take a trip to my dentist and pray that he would squeeze me in and pull my tooth. Finally, she gets in touch with the person who has access to print out the information that I needed regarding my refund. Now I wasn't even going to do a review with this office. I just wanted to put it in the past. I was able to receive my refund of $157 on that Tuesday. My dentist ended up squeezing me in on the same day I was supposed to have the root canal and pulled my tooth. A week and a 1/2 after my appointment with this office I get a phone call telling me that I owe them $25 for my consult. I felt like I was being taunted. I felt disrespected. I didn't understand why the person couldn't just send me a bill via mail or email. I explained to the person over the phone. How I think it's funny that she's reaching out to me about $25 just bill me. I explained to her how I did not understand the office taking patients money first before doing the procedure. She stated it's protocol and it's rare that a situation like mine happens. I stated that it's not a great protocol ,but you all could care less because it's not you all money and time. I could feel/hear the nonchalant attitude in her voice as she fake apologize along with a co-worker that was near listening (I could definitely tell it was more than one person on the phone). Needless to say, I will not go back there or recommend anyone to that office. Peace and Blessings!

Absolutely phenomenal experience. This was my first root canal so I was very scared about everything. The staff were all so sweet and had fun personalities. The doctor was extremely kind and explained everything in a way that was easy for me to understand. The whole process was so painless, I nearly fell asleep! I wish I had a doctor like him growing up, maybe I wouldn’t so afraid of the dentist!!

I have been going to Dr Reff since 2018 and he has saved me multiple times from unbearable dental pain. He’s extremely professional and thorough. He takes great pride in his work and his attention to detail is exquisite. He even calls in the evening after your appt to follow up with you and I have never had a doctor do that before. He takes his time to explain the procedure and talks to u throughout the procedure and explains every step. He is worth every penny!
